Read This If You've Been Worrying

You’re worrying again, aren’t you?

Worrying that it may never happen,

That you’ll be stuck here forever,

That you’ll fail,

That you’ll never achieve your dreams,

That you won’t be able to prove them wrong,

That you won’t be able to prove yourself right,

That you’ll never reach your potential.

Do not be confused between what the mind thinks is true and what the heart knows is true.

The mind is very loud, obnoxious, and must be so in order to get our attention. After all, attention is what our ego demands.

When you sink deeper into the silence that ever exists beneath the noise, you will be able to hear the truth of your heart.

Your mind worries, but your heart knows that those worries are futile.

Your heart knows that you will make it,

That you’ll move on from where you are,

That you’ll succeed,

That you’ll achieve every dream you have,

That you’ll prove them wrong and yourself right,

That you’ll continually stretch your potential.

This knowing is subtle and one must be quiet and listen closely to hear it.

But once you begin to hear it, you’ll notice that it becomes louder and louder.

And it’ll flood your being with peace.

And this peace is how you know something is true, how you know something resonates with you.

Nothing that resonates with you will ever make you feel anxious or stressed.

If your thoughts make you feel that way, if they make you feel bad, it’s because they do not resonate with your truth.

Let them go.

Tune into your heart and feel the resonance of your truth.

The mind will always find something to worry about, you can count on that.

And in knowing that, you can let the mind worry, and you can detach from those thoughts.

Simply let them pass by, observe them as they go like watching a flock of birds migrating.

The mind thinks that once some external event happens, that it will be happy.

Once you get the job,

Once you make the money,

Once you marry that person,

Once you reach that goal,

Once you achieve that dream,

But the truth is that the mind will still go on worrying after that.

You get the job and then worry about not being able to handle the responsibilities.

You make the money and then worry about losing it all.

You marry that person and then worry about if the marriage will last.

You reach the goal and then worry about regressing.

You achieve that dream and then worry about if you’ll ever achieve another.

Fear manifests in the mind and easily clings to the walls, lingering as long as it can.

But you have something within you that is significantly more powerful:

Your heart.

Love.

The resonance of truth that is continuously humming.

Drop into your heart and feel it.

Hear it.

Let that be the song that gets stuck in your head.

Thoughts come and go but your heart is always there.

You always have access to it.

You can always tune into it.

Peace is always there, within you.

It is not out there.

And that is something that cannot be taken from you.

It can only be given away by you in reaction to external things.

Or you can choose to hold onto it.

To decide your peace is more important than something, or someone, that is trying to disrupt it.

Everything begins within, and ends there too.
